So ladies and gents it's getting to that ever so uncomfortable part of the year, where there's shortcomings in the squad with limited time to fix them.
With one week to go how many more signings will we make and importantly where will they be?
Who will they be? Will Cap Khan get the chequebook out?
Answers on a FoF postcard.
Oh and there's a poll, everyone loves a poll, don't they?
For what it's worth I'm putting my eggs in the optimistic basket, saying 3 signings to include 2 defenders and an attacker for more than £10m outlay.
Names are tough especially in terms of an attacker. We are probably behind QPR in the pecking order who will replace Austin if he goes which in all honesty reckon someone will panic buy him.
Then it's a fight between us and the now loaded Brentford.
If it was my money and had a choice either Gayle or Vydra would be ideal.
If we don't get two, I'll fear for our survival.
An injury to Hutch or O'Hara would leave us in serious trouble.
you shoud have asked how many decent players will we get, answer,..... none.

Considered that but thought then there might not be any debate just a grumble off, understandably though!
My wish list;
2 defenders
1 greyhound winger
1 Zamora type striker ( without the attitude)

not being too serious about the poll, just my own sweet self
interesting answers, hope a few more contribute and then we can see how it all turns out.
Just one would be good,
A new face sat in the managers office.
There are players out there, just waiting for Fulham's new contract offer...2 bales of hay and 3 bags of carrots a week. To fit in with all the other donkeys. :005:
We will finish top half. We will bring in another three players, two on loan.
One, but don´t know if it will be a CB, striker or winger. I think we will see a couple in the loan window if we don´t get who we are after. Then it will be the out of contract players that no one else wants.
Bump, anyone consider themselves to be wide of the mark yet....
Kit says he wants a minimum of two and says that they're working on 3 to come in.
Bakary Kone, cd from Lyon is a new face as of today according to Reuters.......

We could with another Defender, a fast winger and a striker with pace and power
Getting worried, I am agreeing with you again!!

Really???? Like your username, it's the same old song!!
We need 3 (quality) players but its not going to happen. 2 decent players will have to do.
Don't hold your breath!
...is it possible that Kone could be the only traffic we get..?

When I drive into a diversion or congestion or a lane closure, Kones are usually to blame, so maybe we can blame him, when anything at Fulham goes pear shaped.
You could always try phoning John Major's Kone line to complain
However, it may have been disconnected by now.............

I took your advice and called that number, and Edwina Currie answered the call, she appeared to be out of breath.

Well, helloooo!
Err maybe not on reflection....
