Title: Another pointless name added to the possible list

ROBERTO DONADONI is a surprise contender for the vacant manager's job at Fulham but they insist they won't rush an appointment after failing to land Ajax boss Martin Jol.

The Dutchman was on a shortlist along with former Manchester City managers Mark Hughes and Sven Goran Eriksson.

But Fulham have decided to widen the search and former Italy coach Donadoni is being looked at.

Donadoni, 46, led Italy to the Euro 2008 quarter-finals but he has been out of work since being sacked by Napoli last October.

Cardiff's Dave Jones and former Bayern Munich and Germany coach Jurgen Klinsmann have also been linked with the job.
