We didn't lose £6.6m. We got paid for loaning him out on both occasions so I'd be surprised if we lost out on much at all. Plus we saved on his wages so we are probably better off.
Didn't all the remaining money we owed get cancelled in exchange for Kasami (~£5m)? Or am I making that up??
