Title: NFR.... John McCafferty passes away...
Post by: Fulham Tup North on February 10, 2016, 11:25:26 PM
.. He had nothing to do with Fulham, but he was the worlds longest surviving Heart Transplant Patient. 33 years he survived, amazing!!
It just reminded me of the old Fulham fan who had a Heart Transplant back in 1979, the first day of the season, when we were 3-0 down to Birmingham at half-time only to come back and win 3-4.  His name was Keith Castle I think?
Oh how we could do with another Gordon Davies now.

I was only recently talking of Keith Castle. I think he may have been on This Is Your life?

Went with my uncle who lived in birmingham. He got tickets for birmingham end. At HT, I said I wanted to go, he persuaded me not to. Cheers Uncle
