Are back for today's game, good or bad?
I think I am right in saying we have yet to lose a game with them this season :dft011:
Good news, clappers may just help to clinch a win.
The players need to go like the clappers.
Drown out the booing?
Why now?! Presuming they will have season ticket renewal marketing on them yay

I walked into WH Smith & Son this morning, and I said to the woman behind the counter, " do you keep stationary ". She replied, " yes right up until the last minute, then I go like the clappers ".
Shows how old you are it hasent been called Whsmiths and Sons since1874
They work, don't care if you like them or not they help.

Woolly is 95 and lives in a care home for wayward ex
Sailors on the Isle of Wight.
I think they bring a atmosphere tothe riverside and Johnny haynes sides that is missing otherwise
No one in this thread has stated that they don't like the clappers. The OP was asking the opinion if they were a good or a bad thing, so please try to keep things civil.
I watched a couple of kids in front of me thrash each other with them.
It ended in tears with the littlest tyke getting a right buffeting.
All was forgetten when we scored and smiles replaced frowns
The clappers worked a treat.
Just three more critical games at the Cottage, we need clappers at each of these matches.
I do cringe a little because they are so cheesy. But it does work and it seems to create a better atmosphere. Don't really see an argument against them working to be honest, its so much louder than clapping
They were only on every other seat in the Hammersmith end. A bit of cost cutting by the club?
Should've been on every seat. Lets ramp up the atmosphere!

Ah. That would explain why our seats had absolutely no clappers when we arrived at 2.55pm. A few kids around us clutching their clappers and avoiding eye contact. Still, I was happy to delegate clapping duties today and if they helped us win, then let's use them again.
Really helped the atmosphere, I like them.
Although if we ever let a drummer in, I'd have to be off, I suppose to the riverside stand.
Well I kept getting g hit with one during the match
Love them or hate them, they do help generate a better atmosphere.
It is so much louder with them and even people who do not generally make a lot of noise will use them, so they do make for a much better atmosphere which I reckon the players enjoy.
Every other seat at the Hammy was pretty ridiculous though. We should continue it for the remaining home games but EVERY home seat please.
Also I noticed Norwich had them too on Saturday and they got a crucial win too.
think they work and we should keep them for the remaining home games this season.
Well done the clappers again.
