Have we ever deployed the clappers for an away game? Lets hope Ipswicth are already on he beach.
wow wasn't expeciting that back 4. Wheres Amore? Hutch at RB or Stears?
With Stearman it is very much like a hands on approach.
Great back 4, what is the most we have ever lost by? I would have rather had Matt Smith playing in our defence, he can't be any worse than the 4 named!
This just goes to prove how poor that defence is when 1 or 2 regulars are missing. Both Lovebite and Madle are injured.
We're obviously going 4-4-2 to deal with Ipswich, so naturally Ream goes to the left, Stearman to the right.
Only capable centre backs are Hitchinson and Burn.
50 years since we last beat them. 10-1 and still paying for it.
I think the 'fish supper' analogy is about right.

That was a great match, 1 I will never forget and a few days later I think we lost 4-1 to them!
Everyone in positive spirits already I see.
Stearman will get roasted by Sears. He will be like a rabbit caught in headlights.

Unforgettable match.I think the Ipswich players had all been on the sauce the night before.
4-2 on the return match a couple of days later. I was 11 then.

Of course we may win, then the comments will come "i saw that team and knew we were going to win"

Apparently not, certainly not in the 1st Half (according to GJ).
Just got back from a business trip, saw the score and I see that all the doom and gloom merchants were wrong. Nobody got roasted, we didn't concede a hat full, the fish supper analogy was wide of the mark... Oh well I suppose our pessimism is understandable given everything we have had to endure in recent years. Still well done SJ, well done lads, safe now and we can start planning for next season.
