Leicester and Tottenham have been the best in the EPL this year. Is it a coincidence that their teams have used less players through the season than most of their rivals? Ok, Arsenal were also low in this table, and Chelsea were joint bottom (not that it did that much good), but the fact that Leicester used only 23 players and Spurs 24 is enlightening i reckon. I added a comparison of the teams that used the least in the championship, plus ours of course.

Leicester will use more next season due to cup commitments, spurs is an interesting one but for me that shows the lack of depth in their squad, in that they are not able to rely on consistent performances from their back up players.
