everyone will be happy now ;)
When I was a boy the only pre-season match was first team v reserves played a week before the season started, with entrance to all parts of the ground a shilling. I suspect training consisted of cutting down slightly on beer and fags before match day.
I really don't understand us playing a team from the same league (Brighton) at Aldershot.
Took em long enough

Wasn't to hard for her ladyship to do was it really ?
What is there in that released schedule that couldn't have been released say a week ago ?

Maybe it was only finalised in last few days.
maybe Cork needed to finalise prices, police, tea lady
Maybe they had hoped the Brighton game location would be fixed by now
Maybe Portugal was not confirmed.
While Sarah does reply sometimes to direct questions she wont confirm things unless they are in place.
Also as she is clear to point out, the comms team can only send out stuff when they have the ok to do so from the relevant parties involved.
I'm just giving reasons possibly why it has not been done through the website till today.
I know in my job I'm reluctant to announce any events etc until all the ducks are in place. So I can understand them not sending out unreliable info until sure of dates etc.

Could be one of a number of reasons. I am sure they announced it as soon as they could. And given some of the fixtures are prefixed with "provisional", it may still be premature :)
Interesting to note that Cork City only announced it today on their website.

They probably all got confirmed in the last few hours
We now know that we will be playing Cork and Brighton but as yet we don't know the venue for the Brighton match. I imagine there is more to come ?
Funny playing Brighton when it is possible that we could be playing them again at the beginning of August.
The venue for the Brighton match is Aldershot towns ground
