Not sure about the second point - Aluko has the edge in terms of pace - but agree with your overall assessment. A great find - and all for free!
If we had paid £8m for him, would some people be happier... Just a thought. Great pick up, esp for the crazy price. Well done Rigg.
He was out of contract because he's not a great finisher.

He was fantastic I thought - looked like he tired a little in the second half but its understandable given how much effort he put in first half.
No idea hat you are on with your second point though
Diarra was a strong defensive midfielder and Aluko is an attacking, pacey forward who appears to be a great dribbler. Two completely different type of players
