Some good transfer activity but we definitely needed an out & out goal scorer. Can't help but feel that it's a missed opportunity and we will live to regret the lack of investment. Perhaps there is an out of contract playr that we are still targeting

Adebayor
We had one - he didn't do us any good because the way we had to play meant that we let in more goals than he could score
Ross went to Villa
Ross McCormack - 38 goals in 88 league games for Fulham = .43 goals per game
Chris Martin - 52 goals in 121 games for Derby = .429 goals per game
Pretty good replacement I reckon, plus he scores with his head too, which Ross hardly ever did.
I'm the first to be critical of the Khan's but you have to hand it to them that they have given us a great window. There has been no lack of investment. It's now Jokanovic's team and there are plenty of goals in the team.
With the right service, why not Martin?
