So what would be your team for the QPR game?
I would have: Button, Odoi Kalas Sigurdsson Malone, Parker Tunnicliffe, Cairney Aluko Piazon, Martin
Assuming Kalas is back, If not stick Ream there.
If Madl's fit then play him over Ream.
Other than that the same as the above
Madl was on the bench last night, but I would only change the team if Kalas is fit
Kalas if fit but otherwise Madl over Ream and Betts for Butts.

Sounds good to me JL
Tunny has to play imo. He is the mixer in the midfield. Break up play then attackand get them worried. Outstanding work rate. Always 100%.
Parker and Cairney know their roles.
Get after them Fulham
COYW!
Like we did against QPR at home last season (under KS), As an alternative to the flawed possession game (at home), I would like us to go for a full press. Like some are doing against us.
This is what got us the result against them last season.
To do this, we would need LVC and Tunni to start.
Mind, can't see it happen, as it's not something Joca seems to consider.
Malone pulled up with a hamstring injury last night.

Button has done very well for us, why change him? Personally don't think Betts is better.

If malone is injured then stick Sessegnon their
I would hope to keep Piazon and Tunni in the side.

As long as we field no less than 11 on Saturday, we will beat them.
As long as we end up with no less than 11 we might beat them!

I want to see whether quicker, more direct distribution from the keeper would help speed up our movement forward, It is the main thing I have felt has held us back and has disappointed me in recent games.

Button is conceding goals that he should be saving. He is definitely more well rounded in terms of kicking, organisation etc... but as a pure shot stopper Betts is stronger. If we play Betts and the defence falls apart because he isn't as vocal then yes re-instate Button, but if the defence are capable of organising themselves then having our best shot stopper between the posts would be a better option.
It is nice to have two good, yet different keepers available to us.

Like this squad, except I feel it would be very harsh to drop Smith, he had a good game, forced a stuning save and a had goal disallowed (unfairly) for offside.
Martin isn't the type of player you'd want to start in a derby game, sure bring him on if we need a goal, but the majority of the game we will need players that work hard.
Why should Martin get the nod over Smith? Martin has failed to deliver anything like the form his reputation promised.
Very important to build on the good performance against Forest, so no need to change too much. Kalas goes straight back into the side if he's fit and Malone starts if he's 100%, otherwise Sess slots in.
However I hope Martin starts as he's bound to come good eventually, and looked sharper against Forest.
So ideally it's this team for me:
Button
Odoi - Kalas - Sigurdsson - Malone
Tunnicliffe - Parker
Cairney - Aluko - Piazon
Martin
Button
Odoi
Kalas (Ream)
Madl
Sessegnon
Parker
Tunnicliffe
Aluko
LVC
Cairney
Smith
Smith deserves a start, but Martin looked better than previously when he came on, and needs game time, and surely deserves more time to prove himself.
I think Slavisa might start with Smith, maybe bringing Martin to partner him later in the game if needed.
Don't understand why Christensen can't even make the squads these days

We look better and play better when we introduce a high tempo in matches. Quicker build ups and faster passing movements should yield more opportunities to have a poke at goal, our defence is sounder and we need to increase our opportunities of scoring up the other end. Keeping a clean sheet can save matches, scoring can win matches. But achieving both the clean sheet and score goals, will definately win matches.
And there is definitely no way of arguing against your last sentence. I want a team who can do both of those things.....

After his performance against middlesbrough in the cup I thought he'd done enough to earn a place, he was phenomenal!

His confidence is down I think - he was fairly diabolical against Bristol City :(
Button
Odoi Kalas Sigurdsson Malone
Parker Tunnicliffe
Cairney Aluko Piazon
Martin
Bettinelli, Madl, Sessegnon, Johansen, Jozabed, Kebano, Woodrow.

Has anyone advised the manager that keeping clean sheets and scoring goals is a fullproof way of winning matches, I would have thought Stats Boy may have come up with it by now and claimed it as his own idea.

He played in the cup match v Bristol city
But I thought he looked good again in that game . He was one of our better players and no one was "diabolical" notwithstanding the result
Not sure who I'd drop to fit in the starting XI but I agree he should be on the bench. A better option than jozabed and Kebano at the moment IMO. There are just so many facets to his talent as a footballer; he makes things happen
Maybe diabolical was too far but he lost the ball too often and didn't get his head up. It looked like he was trying too hard to make something happen and so dribbled when he should have passed and vice versa.

Jokanovic says in his video interview that Malone is a doubt other than that it's the same squad as Forest ,
Which would indicate that Kalas is out

Yes, we need to try to establish a regular team and avoid the continual chopping and changing of the last two seasons.
Surely no more Aluko runs around like a headless chicken and cant score to save his life
