Title: NFR: Thursday Night Football
Post by: SP on November 27, 2016, 09:12:40 PM
A relegation 6 pointer, it's QPR v Wolves.  Is this the first league fixture on a Thursday evening or am I having a senior moment?

Am sure last season ( maybe earlier this) sky showed 7 football league games live in 7 straight days

And Wolves fans have to pay £28 or £33 pounds for the privilege.

Someone suggested each Championship club gets something like £80K every time they are live on SKY.  With QPR on live so often this must be one of their main income streams.

Presumably they've got WHU type immunity to breaking the rules?

Wasn't it 10 in 10 days but not a game per day. It was 3 here and 2 there. Whatever it was what you've said rings a bell

I don't think anyone is that bothered how many days it was to be fair. The important thing is we both agree on the concept lol

Lets hope we take the whole away end, 1200 tickets won't touch the sides.
