But given up and come home. In my part of the world, it is chaos. Sad but there is always Saturday

Out of interest what was the chaos?  Traffic jams, rail cancellations or what?

Went up to Carshalton Station because Thameslink trains are still running but are being cancelled because of staff shortages. Went down to catch a bus but just missed a 157 to Morden, in order to get a 93 but just missed one. So got a 127 to Mitcham Junction to catch a tram to Wimbledon, this was then stuck in traffic, eventually got to the Tram stop but they were packed and I couldn't get one. So, I gave up. Sorry but I was worried what it may be like after the game.

I think you deserve a medal for even trying.
Real shame, I feel for you.
