Title: New player registration
Post by: f321ffc on January 12, 2017, 11:27:11 AM
If we should sign someone when would all the paper work have to be sorted to be allowed to play Saturday?

it is either midday or 5pm on Friday for weekend games, for mid week games I could not tell you.

Very much doubt anyone will be in for Saturday. Another game without a striker, still if we play like we did against Cardiff we can win.

It was glaringly obvious from that match that we need a striker in ASAP

Barnsley aren't Cardiff, and they seem to find a way of beating most teams in this Division, either home or away, I know we beat them at their place 4 2, and we can do it again, but they mustn't be under estimated, we could have done with other striker coming in for this match.

.Barnsley is definite potential banana skin .Lets hope our front players are right on their game amd stick away any chances that may come their way.I really was hoping for at least one new face (striker) through the CC door by now.

I seem to recall Kebano playing the day after he signed so probably.

This is from the EFL rules....

41.5    Subject to Regulations 41.6, 41.7 and 55, a Player will only be eligible to play in a match organised by The League if the appropriate forms for his registration or the transfer of his registration (including, for the avoidance of doubt, Temporary Loan Transfers) are received (including by facsimile) and found to be in order by The League by 12.00 noon on the day prior to the date of such match.

Let's be realistic, we are not going to see any new player until well into February, if then.

It's just struck me how positive this question is.... shame it was irrelevant, but hey!
