£10 more expensive than the iFollow plan, not too bad.

I get ESPN channels on my TV package but don't know if I'll have to upgrade my subscription to get league games (which I'll gladly do).

You need an international bank account which is the tricky bit. If you have a property abroad though you'll be fine

If it's on espn website/app, I assume I can 'throw' it onto my TV screen.

It says £120, and I'd assume it depends on where you live. If you live somewhere where local TV companies have broadcasting rights for a game, it can't be shown. Same conditions as iFollow

"Whilst we will bring you as many games as possible over the course of the campaign, we are only able to show non-televised matches."

So, if you're in a market that gets a lot of Fulham games, you won't get as many games shown.

I am not shelling out £120 in one go. I am sticking to the existing £2.99 for just GJ & next day 90 mins replay. My internet download speed is very poor out in the outback of Spain. There is no landline available for high speed internet so have to rely on an antenae service which is fine for normal usage but streaming is not great as it keeps buffering.

Will the fulhamfctv subscription still offer 90 minute replays the next day? I would wait until Sunday if it meant paying 1/3 of the asking price for the service.

Seems unfair to those in the UK to me. I'm gonna pay an absolute fortune to see 10 odd away games next season but will still see less probably than those overseas.

Don't get me wrong I'm pleased for our members who this benefits. But still leaves me feeling shortchanged.

Nothing the club can do about that mate (know your not saying there is), some obscure law / rule that no games can be shown live in the UK due to something or other

Still not worth 4.49 to listen to commentary for me. Gentleman Jim is fine but frankly to pay when I can read the latest updates on other sites is good enough for me. Ideally would love to watch but can't. But equally still not worth the minimum payout to me. Just another way that football screws the fans.

But nevertheless hope everybody who does subscribe enjoys it and we have a great season.

your right it is, FFC are right to offer the service and those who wish to pay that's their call, its a shame the authorities stopped us showing them and doing the commentary for free

I agree.

I can only get to a select amount of games a season, perhaps 10 (tomorrow will be 1). The outlay for just 3 of those will be more than it costs for a season if I lived not within train distance of London.

Something doesn't quite sit right with the whole thing. Don't get me wrong, it's great that more can now watch us live, but I can't afford a season ticket plus travel to every game, nor can I pay sky an extra £20 or more a month to see us maybe a handful more times. I'm a bit salty clearly. Priced out so I can continue to pay my mortgage.

Will the club automatically change my sub to the new price or do I have to apply again?

contact them, but I think you have to sign up as it is a different membership for the international one. For the revised 4.49 one if you pay monthly it will automatically change form when the price goes up

Cheers WW, I just saw this on the Offal. It will go up automatically after 31 August. With the drastic fall in the exchange rate due to you know what I can´t justify the £120.

The way I read it was that the £120 option is the "deluxe" sub with all the games included. FFCTV, Gentleman Jim and the whole shebang.

You can buy the games for £10 if you don't have FFCTV, and at a discounted £5 if you're a regular subscriber in case you don't want to see some games though.

From the article:
Subscription options for the new service include a monthly and annual package (available to all supporters), while international supporters can take advantage of an all-inclusive annual pass, or choose to stream fixtures on a match-by-match basis.

The £120 option would be the all-inclusive.

I think you will find it has gone up 50% to £4.49 a month for this season, not bad considering the service is rubbish!!

Right, so what is the entry fee to ffctv as an international supporter without signing on to all the games? What you quoted covers the 120 and the 10/match. Still not sure how I would get the 5/match rate.

I have to pay for GJ, I pay for the matches that I manage to attend. I pay my membership.  I would have a season ticket, but I am a shift worker where Saturdays are part of my working week, so not an option. Why can't I watch live coverage? Just makes my blood boil!

You need to take that up with the EFL. Think the reason that they can't is something along the lines of promoting people to go to their local clubs rather than watch on the telly.

My bank has a 2% fee on international purchases. So nothing heinous. Would be an extra 3 bucks and change USD on the full season purchase.

Because streaming to the UK is illegal and the providers will track it back, fine of up to 10k and FFC could lose licence to show games. All stops being bought out to stop UK residents from watching

My first post. Had to be on where I spent the majority of my time last year. On FFCTV. Just amazing service for those of us in the US. I shut off the world 24-hours after Fulham played. At least now when I come back on, it will be in at least 720p! :)

Really great news!!! But I'm confused about one thing. If I buy the annual pass for 120 pounds, do I still have to pay an additional 2.99 pounds (going up at the end of August) monthly fee for last years version of FFCTV, or is it now included in the International Pass?

So, the EFL 'won't allow' the club to charge less than £4.49 a month for the service.  Why would the EFL insist on such a stipulation - unless at the behest of the clubs themselves - and so provide a convenient pretext for a 50% hike in the fee?  'Don't blame us, blame the EFL'. Just another ruse to fleece the punters.

Fulhamfctv is the only option where you can subscribe to Fulham games. They'll be broadcast on iFollow as well, but then you'd have to subscribe to the team that Fulham is facing.

Edit: So yes, Fulhamfctv is far better.

So, this doesn't apply to Ireland? The Republic of Ireland.
The EFL regarding Ireland as a province of the UK.

Did Padraig Pearse die for this, was James Connolly dragged from his sick bed, tied to a chair and shot, so that 100 years later Irish Fulham fans would be treated as no more than lackeys of John Bull.

Oh, come out you EFL, come out and fight me like a man.

Just had a quick look at it and could not find anywhere to signing up or upgrade to the actucal broadcasting of games.  Did find where it says it will be available in time for the away Reading game.  Must be coming out in the next week.

I will pop in to see my bank manager in a few days and ask about fees. Plan B I will try it once and see how much it costs.

Jarv, don't you get a 'convenience fee' at the mo with the current FFCTV subscription for GJ then? I do!

Basically, it's just gonna be the XC rate plus a convenience fee, which I know is 3 bucks when using my US card in the UK per transaction.

Overall, I think 120 quid ain't so bad, I paid 10 bucks a month last season to beIN to see just three sodding matches, THREE MATCHES!! That got dropped last month so the 150 bucks for 30+ matches is a steal for me, plus I get GJ's unbiased commentary as well  :005:

But if I have an ESPN subscribtion won't I see a lot of the games that way?

Depends what ESPN decide to show. As I said, last season BeIN sports had the rights to Championship matches and I saw Fulham three times and that was it. We are not a fashionable team, even for the States, and so with the likes of  Villa, Wolves, Sunderland, et al, we stand the same chance as a chocolate fireguard.

On the official FFC website, under the FAQ section in the FCTV tab, there is a subscribe button for the International Pass for 120 pounds. Everything for my current 2.99 pounds per month FCTV information was there, but when you enter the final step to subscibe, nothing happens. Firstly, why would they place this in such an obscure place, and why is there yet no way to subscribe. The first game set for FCTV is 48 hours away.

Anyone else having issues subscribing to the Overseas Annual Pass?

I've tried accessing the page signed in to my current FFC TV account as well as signed out, but it currently says "Not Available" instead of "Sign Up Now" under that option.

Are you using an UK or Irish phone number or bank account when you are signing up?

Nope. It won't even give me the option to sign up, regardless of whether I'm logged into my account or not.

Strangely, when I turn off the wi-fi on my phone and browse the Fulham site, the option to subscribe pops up.

Does anyone have any idea why FFC would think my U.S. internet connection was originating from someplace else?

I just logged into my Fulham account.  The yearly subscription is available for overseas fans but not matchday.  I'm going to guess the individual matchday option will not be available until just before match starts.

All of the above was done via my Samsung phone network with no Wi-Fi.

I think I found a solution for subscribing to the International Pass. I could not do it on Safari on my Mac, but was able to get in on Google Chrome on my PC. The only problem I'm having now is that it says my phone number is not valid. The first part asks for the international dialing code. I do not know what that woulb be. I live in the US.
Anyone know?

Thanks, but the problem wasn't the "1", as I had that, but that I used dates in the phone number. When I removed the dashes, it worked and I am signed up.
I just hope I can watch the games on my Mac's Safari, as it didn't let me sign up on it. It works now for the replays and audio of GJ, so I am hopeful it will work for the International Pass.

My problem seems to be with my internet provider (AT&T U-Verse). When I tried connecting via my wife's Verizon hotspot on her phone, it worked just fine.

Does any know enough about ISPs and can help me with this?

So, this doesn't apply to Ireland? The Republic of Ireland.
The EFL regarding Ireland as a province of the UK.

Did Padraig Pearse die for this, was James Connolly dragged from his sick bed, tied to a chair and shot, so that 100 years later Irish Fulham fans would be treated as no more than lackeys of John Bull.

Oh, come out you EFL, come out and fight me like a man.

Yep but Ireland gets Sky Sports who have the rights to the EFL hence why they are not part of the fulhamtv live streams availability or ifollow

I just signed up from here in NZ and will use in China as well when Im working there. Had no issues signing up, just had to input my card info like you usually would. Was never asked for a phone number, but I guess system can prob tell from card where its based. Will see how it goes for the live games but everything else is working fine

Post by: southwest6 on August 11, 2017, 10:49:06 AM
I've been living in Oz the last few months and will be here for the next few years; I set up my FFCTV account back in London and also use a UK email. In order to live stream the games, will they automatically be able to distinguish my current location - and given that I will be paying with an Australian bank card - will this suffice? Just making sure as don't want to be my neurotic self 5mn prior to KO unable to find/work a stream!!

Just signed up, no issues, via laptop using Chrome and a wired Internet connection. Used my current FFCTV account to sign in.

Interesting on the receipt, it states the words 'Recurring subscription', wonder if that's an automatic debit every year the same as the monthly one is, and does this override the monthly access fee for GJ, or is it considered separate? Guess I'll find out if/when they take the usual monies from my account next month for GJ.

Can't make the game tomorrow, happen to live in the UK, now have to pay £4.49 a month to listen to a radio feed while others can watch it live for not much more.

Can't wait until the collapse of Sky, which will bring down the stupid money in the game, which means clubs might have to consider their supporters a bit more and I might be able to afford to get to more matches.

Bah humbug.

After reading all the posts I am seriously confused. So have some questions you may be able to help me with.

Firstly I am UK based and currently have an FFCTV package. On reading the Club's email I am under the impression they are still the service provider it is just that will get the feeds from ifollow, so our contract is with FFC and they are passing on the full cost to us, where last year I thought they subsidised. Is this right?
Does this include the radio commentary provided by GJ?
Looking at the EFL website ifollow is voluntary and quite a number of clubs have not subscribed is that right?

I have written to the Club saying that if this new service is anything like last years I am not sure it is worth it with the poor quality and how they don't show quite a number of the contentious incidents, also as I don't watch the full 90 minutes and have a season ticket I am not sure I am going to bother.

Well, we've probably had the radio subs increased to help cover some of the non UK based live streaming cost.

Im with you, Bah Humbug!
