They're a bit like us - nice family club
Good luck to 'em. 9-1 aggregate score....I really hope they survive. I recall seeing very young Frank Worthington playing for them back in a '60's League Cup tie at the Cottage....

The camera caught an old Frank Worthington sitting in the stand. Good luck to them. Newcastle were rubbish (as usual).

Indeed. One of the best groups of visiting fans we have had to good fortune to sit amongst. It looks good for them at the moment does'nt it. Good crowd, team as one and a manager with a plan, a back up plan and then some.
Looking at Newcastle. If they carry on like that in the next two/three games Cairney might not actually fancy it should an offer come in as they were interested a while back and creativity is where they so desperately poor.

A real talent was Frank, a real character on the pitch....does anyone else recall the side he managed for a while?

Tranmere Rovers.
In 70's era of big tall Centre forwards(Frank Large late 60s springs to mind) Osgood and Worthington stood out. I always thought Worthington the slightly better player, his touch and skill was a revelation. The goal he scored for Leicester where he played keepy uppy with his back to goal on edge of the area then put it over his head, spun on sixpence sending all the defenders running in opposite direction while he coolly slotted it home is still one of my favorite goals, Bergamp'ess even though it was probably before he was born.

Both teams played like Championship sides. Not Prem standard. Huddersfield won ugly which we have never been able to do. Brighton did it many times last season. It is a huge step up which is becoming harder & harder for Championship sides.

Been to Huddersfield on all our recent Championship games (3) and every single time their fans were so friendly and reasonable. Even after the most fortunate 2-0 win (for us) you will ever see. Lovely bunch and definitely my 2nd favourite Club.
...and they hate Leeds!
