Would be a shame as he really has been great the last 2 games
If so, let's hope he gets better soon. It's so nice to have a striker who is scoring, wins personal battles, shows desire, is speedy, young, signed on a long contract and clearly happy to be with us. Been a while since all those boxes were ticked.
He didn't get subbed though did he? If there was a fear you'd think he'd be taken off.
Well there were no subs left so he had to stay on. But it all depends if it was just a hamstring tightening up as he hasn't played 90 minutes or something worse. Stupid to have so many games in so little time. But at least they can rest up after Friday for a bit.
Gives the squad a chance to shine.
Will there be a press conference prior to Friday?

Probably not .... but then neither will our opponents!

Haven't understood any so far - but heigh ho I'd rather it that way than the predictable dross you hear from other managers - Holloway being a notable exception
What's the context on this? Was he limping at the end?
He put himself about and took some knocks throughout but think he was more knackered than injured
AK was holding his left hamstring.

AK was holding his left hamstring.
He was running around in stoppage time. Had he done his hamstring that wouldn't be possible. He'll be fit for Friday, unless it's a slight strain that would be day-to-day.
He was skipping to clap fans at end so I doubt it serious, but you have to be careful with HS though.

I can confirm he was skipping, I saw the rope myself.
But if he has tweaked a Hammy, he wouldn't be involved Friday.
Let's hope it's nothing to worry about, he would be valuable Friday.
SJ just said he has a problem in his press conference
Of course could be a case of mind games as it is the local derby
Fonte is not yet 100% fit so would bench him. 2 days between matches is not fair on him at this stage of his recovery.

If he is fit he has to start on Friday.
Given Mollo looked sharp and got an assist (and has anyone noticed he and Kamara seem to be good mates already, with Kamara even running to hug him on the bench after he scored tonight) he has to start too IMO.
And given Kebano scored you'd expect him to start.
Personally I'd play Norwood behind those 3 and drop the £8m striker, Fonte, to the bench for the next game, believe it or not.
I'd go with that, all three have looked to be hitting good form in the last game or two.
