Not sure he was the answer but looks like Preston are being cute and conducting some early transfer business. Would be lovely to hear some of that coming from our camp.

It's Preston's Hugill that we should be after.  Suspect he won't be a Preston player on 1 February.  This guy is the potential replacement.

Although the type of player we are missing thought he was borderline assaulting Kalas and ream at times. Seem to remember a nasty elbow on ream??

Six yellow no reds this season.  No shrinking violet.  But what strikes me most is on the C5 highlights, even when he doesn't score or assist, he's often central to the goal or chance.  Good player.

Can't see the Fulham Coach fancying him somehow?  Wonder if a Talbot has ventured outside the M25 (other than to France or Portugal) to check him out?

don't like Hugill at all, absolute thug and limited skills, puts himself about and works hard but not a Fulham player. Compared to Ulloa there's no contest, that's who we should be after on loan.

I'd take Ulloa on loan in a heartbeat, but no chance I'd have thought.

Laughable, he was outstanding against us, exactly what we are lacking , how can you criticise somebody by saying "puts himself about and works hard" , wow that's criticism that he would take every day.
At Preston he doesn't have the likes of Sessegnon and Ojo playing wide of him, he would be lethal playing for us and a far better player than Chris Martin and yet plenty of experts on here wanted us to pay £9 million for him 12 months ago.

No we don't want to lower our standards with players like Hugill who really bother defences, lets jus double up with another Fonte.

, didn't say that did i? Put words in my mouth if you want,  not bothered.

Don't suppose i'm entitled to an opinion, do one!

I think he's hit his straps at Preston,  may get an upward move from there, then watch him fade away back to another Preston because he's not actually that good.

Don't agree? fine, you're entitled.

I suspect we are looking for a forward who knows how to boss defenders by moving them around, is physical when need arises, and is a handful when in possession.  Martin troubled defenders by playing at less than one hundred percent and not being where they thought he might be.  Hugill at one hundred percent would offer a lot more that that.  Will we go for him?  I suspect he may be in the Club's thoughts but who knows.

Hugill for me is the kind of player we lack. He is better than anything we have, and is a handful for defenders. He is no choir boy, but we don't want a choir boy, we already have them in abundance up front and at the back. He can look after himself when the going is tough, which is in every game we play. We could do with a couple more like him in other positions.
Remember it's a competition we have entered, which basically means we have to compete if we want to improve.
Something this club at times on and off the pitch doesn't seem to comprehend.

I think the first sentence should be writ large all over Fulham FC's several offices, and the second sentence inwardly digested by all those who don't understand the nature of competition.   Whoever we buy for the remainder of this season has to be capable of delivering in the Championship.
