Title: umbrellas to the match.
Post by: ron on February 03, 2018, 09:48:01 AM
Does anyone know if there are facilities to check umbrellas at the gate to be picked up when we leave...?

Just looking at the leaden skies before we leave to go to the game.

Not to worry.....just expect two sodden individuals demanding the use of your tumble dryer at about 1430.....

I have brought in a fold up one no problem. You may struggle with a traditional one.Dont forget it like I did last time.

Just heard there is a place in Finlay Street (on the right when going from Stevenage Rd) with a red gate which takes items as a freebie for the duration of the game. A fold-up still seems favourite though as Mr M suggests.

Quite right to think about suitable attire, remember there is no such thing as bad weather just inappropriate clothing.

There are good waterproofs with hoods available these days no real need to bother with a brolly although a folding brolly can usually be tucked away in a pocket.
