As usual, Leeds fans were impressive last night. IMO they are consistently the best-supported away team at the Cottage. But does anyone know what the reason was for turning their backs on the game in the first half? It sounded as if it was something to do with Sky.
Their teams rubbish performance probably. Seems a fair reaction to me..

No. They supported their team and players throughout. Even at the end of the match they chanted "We are Leeds and proud of it".
They do it every year at this time. In the 18th minute this year as it's 18 years since two of their fans were killed in Istanbul.
And apparently the Turkish police "turned their backs" on the incident and subsequent enquiries
Must have been some 4,000 Leeds fans at the Cottage last night and they gave their team tremendous support , even when 2 goals down. A credit to Leeds.
Well then it's no laughing matter.. good to hear they're finding a way to make a tribute.

As we do with Matthew Fox
Impressive numbers considering it was shown on Sky and a midweek game.
