Two papers reporting that Arsenal are in for Ryan Fredericks on a free. Must be something in it I guess but surely they can do better.

This is Arsenal we are talking about. Ryan Fredericks is Maldini compared to some of their defensive signings under Wenger.

Some journo jumping the gun, come the sum a number of clubs will be chasing Fredericks, but I doubt it will be a Preier top six club.
Bellerin is just a Spanish, better Fredericks. Can't see why you'd want two of the same player.

He's the best right back in the championship and at 25, probably still hasn't quite peaked yet, so definitely has the potential to be an average or slightly above average premier league right back next season
Arsenal aren't the force they once were. They won't be in Europe next year and are in the same bracket as Burnley and Leicester in the table
Also just because they sign him, doesn't mean he'll be an automatic starter. He could just be a decent squad player they pick up on a free transfer
