I agree with you statto. Certainly not a classic but who cares Brum 0 Fulham 2 - Cardiff 1 Reading 1 Both goals scored late in the game. Both Fulham goals scored in the second half after a few scares.

Always said we will pay the price for our woeful second half v QPR at home. I'm dreading the playoffs.
The one asset Cardiff has is they pretty much always score goals. If this game as 3 weeks ago, I say CCFC 3 RFC 0. We can only hope that the pressure on cardiff and the kick up the arse on reading provides the swing.
Sadly, I think they will just be too strong. Their approach makes chances and I dont think Reading has the game to combat this and take advantage.

Actually the game that has cost a leading position is the home game against Cardiff when they equalised inthe 86 th (?) minute.
Need to get in front early at Birmingham. Hopefully it will filter through to Cardiff and crank the pressure up even more. Funny things happen when you are desperate for them to happen.
I still believe we will be 2nd. Lady Luck has been playing a game with Cardiff and us, these last few weeks. Cardiff have to win, anything else leaves them exposed. We've made the playoffs and can do no more. Unless Cardiff slip up. I think Colin will be up to all kinds of tricks at the weekend. Which could be their undoing.

So all guns blazing first half to make sure we are leading comfortably at the break? Risky but we haven't much to lose I suppose.
We do need to make things happen because the odds are really against us.
Fulham will win. They will do nothing less after coming all this way. So it will all come down to reading to keep Cardiff out for the point they need. Anything can happen. We got beat by Burton and Sunderland and went behind again to Sunderland. Cardiff could fail to score or reading Nick a lucky one. Cardiff then need two to be sure. We score first and the cardiff crowd gets nervous and edgy - from that point we are in second and the pressure is on them. Even when they are one up they wil not be safe - they need to be two clear. If we beleive we will win we are at an advantage - that means cardiff have to score and score two clear to be safe. Who knows how it will pan out?
But for sure it isn't over yet not by a long way and anything could happen - I think our chances are at least as good as 50/50 to go up Sunday. Our boys will do the business and if they do we have a good chance.

Well let's put it this way, a Snowball ❄️☃️ Is frozen water crushed together in the rough shape of a football. It's also white in our colours.
This signifies that Cardiff will freeze on the day, with a Reading performance that will feel like an avalanche , and Warlock will be frozen out of an automatic spot, providing Fulham FC win at Birmingham.

Sadly, my last dream on the subject of Fulham may shed little light on this particular thread, unless, of course, you can make sense of Ryan Sessegnon's deft cross from the left being swept into the net by Mitrovic past Ederson for the winning goal in a thriller in front of a full house at Manchester City.....

I would not be surprised if at no stage from the first minute to the 90+ minute Fulham are not in the top two.

If we can get an early goal it will reach Cardifs players and get the stadium nervous and who knows what will happen. The odds are with Cardiff but if we do our job it's amazing what pressure can do. Here's hoping as I too dread the play offs!

I can't see anything other than a Cardiff win, so what we do is largely irrelevant, although for the sake of confidence / momentum / winning mentality going in to the playoffs it would be great to maintain that unbeaten run.
I just played the two games on FIFA. Fulham comfortably won 3-0 Piazon, Johansen and Ayite (who came on for the injured Mitrovic), after a couple of early scares. Reading then beat Cardiff 2-1 with Aluko scoring the second from a worldy after a mazey run. We can dream.

96th minute with cardiff winning 1-0, fulham having secured a run of the mill 0-2 win. Aluko receives the ball on the half way line, the crowd restless for the final whistle, he goes on a mazy run, skinning 3...4...5 defenders, hes in on goal, he cant miss the target. But he does....because hes aluko. Playoffs
If Reading nick a goal and it filters through that we are up then I expect there to be genuine panic stations - that's a two goal swing and would feel like a huge mountain. If Reading fail to score, or Cardiff score first then I don't see a way in for us.
Either way, there will be drama. Can't wait

I dreamt (seriously) that Cardiff was 1-1 final whistle.
Their players were still in kit watching a small screen, with Sky cameras watching, while our game was still playing extra time. They were cheering, shouting, panicking every ball! (Naturally)
Our score at that point was also 1-1
I don't know how it ended, because I woke up (unfortunately) but that's probably why I remembered the dream. I was very sweaty!
Anyhow, I don't put too much faith in dreams, as I'm sure they must be caused by state of mind.
Thing is I'm holding on for dear life with the knowledge that we have been good with very late goals this season and hoping that's what will occur!
I'm actually totally crapped out waiting on this season to end and hope my ticker can take what ever happens!
