Odd that the article doesn't mention his short spell with us in the early 90's.
He was way passed his sell by date at that stage though.
Interesting article, particularly as someone who grew up in Northamptonshire supporting Rushden & Diamonds. Mixed opinions of his tenure back home, but his eye for a player and looking outside the box was apparent during his time there, signing 2 Jamaican Internationals (including one from the MLS) as we pushed for promotion from Division 3 (League 2). Look forward to hopefully bumping him around the Cottage this year and reminiscing.

Just read the article. Said how nerve racking it was at Wembley for the playoff final. I can go along with that.

We were in such a mess at the time he left us for Aldershot FC if I recall.
