Title: Has Mitrovic last his touch
Post by: The Swan on December 28, 2018, 08:42:44 PM
Against Wolves Mitrovic worked his socks off. Had plenty of shots on target and a number of shots off target. He was unlucky with his effort that the keeper saved.

Last season Mitrovic would have put away at least half of his shots. Lets hope he can get his shots on target tomorrow.

He deserved his Man of the Match. Lets hope he gets another MOTM tomorrow.

Every forward will go through a spell where he finds hitting the net a difficulty.
As long as he keeps trying and setting up opportunities and creating space for others.
Then all of a sudden he will get a brace out of nothing just by being in the right place at the right time.
That's why it's important that others also contribute, we cannot rely on one man.
But Mitro is still playing more than well enough whether he scores or does not score.
His presence alone is a bonus.

No he hasnt. Mitro is a class act who gives 100% every week. Wouldn't surprise me if someone makes an offer for him in January.

Believe it or not, one of my favourite Xmas presents this year was a back scratcher which extends from about  7 inches to around 2 feet 4 inches, something I have always wanted, as both my wife, and her sister and the lady next next door as well as my girlfriend have all complained for years that it ruins their nails.

+1

How often does he miss a chance that he didn't make himself out of nothing?
Rarely if ever

Had another striker put the Wolves centre half (Bony?) on his backside as Mitro did the pundits would've been in raptures.

The best player we have had for some considerable time. He always gives 100% and at his age has potential to improve further.  If we can keep him and Sess (tall order) we have the foundation to build a very good side

Add me to the list of those who appreciate a top class striker when they see one.  I'd also add that his likely influence on others in the squad, for example Kamara and Sess, is immense.  And as has been already mentioned he is still a young man with a lot of potential that will develop with time.   He is already one of my Fulham all time favourites.

Is it just me or is the thought of another booking and therefore a suspension having an influence on this?

A booking scheduled for today perhaps?

Last time I checked Mitro was on 4 bookings so one more and misses next match. So don't be surprised if he picks up a silly booking near the end of the Arsenal game say for kicking the ball away at an Arsenal free kick so he misses the FA Cup game against Oldham

I do believe that the yellow cards accumulated in the first part of the season are wiped on 31st December each season

Probably a scare rumour but according to a post on another site Mitro is not playing today.
Someone's idea of a joke?

No he has not lost his touch or last his touch, he has always had it, and today it was a right touch.
