Burnley rightfully 2-0 up over a pitiful West Ham side.

Looking at the table it's clear we need to start putting it up to teams ahead of us. If Burnley and Hudds can beat mid table teams, why can't we. We haven't taken a single point off the top 6, we've drawn against teams in 7th 8th 9th 13th and 15th, whilst our victories have only come against 17th, 18th and 20th with us in 19th if Burnley win.

Many teams like Leicester, Southampton, Palace and Bournemouth have been ablento claim vital points off teams way ahead of them. Games against the likes of arsenal shouldn't just be home and dry going away the points. They were destroyed yesterday and have proven to be beatable not just against the big teams

Equaliser at St Mary's and the Saints have the momentum. Today's matchday doesn't look good for us at the minute.

There are no favours in this league - every time we've won this season,
the other results have gone against us.

We're going to have to do this the hard way if we are going to stay up.

Hence the reason why we have to go to Arsenal and pick up something there.
Preferably a clean sheet and Mitro 90th minute winner.
But that Transfer Window cannot open quick enough for me.
But it has to be quality proven Premier Lesgue players who can hit the ground running, and not be wet nursed for the first six months, like so many signings over the last couple years, who failed miserably to settle in.

City 2-1

That Sterling's goal was... awkward. Thank god for it though.

I just can't believe how WHU is being stuffed so hard by BUR  :022:

Just posted something similar on another thread.  Add that we have failed to beat Watford, Bournemouth, Leicester and Wolves at home.  Only Brighton and Everton to come to the Cottage from mid-table and Cardiff & Newcastle from the bottom sides.  Our away form is going to have to improve some for us to stand any chance of staying up.

Of course we may just beat Spuds, Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Citeh at home.  All before Easter too.   079.gif
