That element seems to be on the rise with that lot.
Rather reminiscent of the mob outside the Commons yesterday.

Think this is a bit worse than winding-up Anna Soubry!
It wasn't just her and it was pretty aggressive, though not physical, but it's the same mentality.
I'm not saying that they were C*****a fans though, i accept.

I mean, this particular group of men were clearly chanting she was a nazi and rather aggressively stalking her wherever she went so I'd say it was pretty bad to be honest.
What were the police doing? This was beyond free speech, more intimidation.
But agree that the Chelsea fans was the same kind of mentality

Its worse yes, but thats should not reduce anyones views on what was very aggressive treatment of her yesterday which if any of us had to deal with that walking to work would be looking for the Police to get involved.

Whatever you think of her (and it wasn't only her), she's never impolite. It was downright thuggish behaviour and one of the offensive recitations was a football chant so who knows what low-life club they support. Wouldn't surprise me if it were Them.

The country's getting more polarised as March 29th approaches but those thugs clearly don't know the meaning of the word that they used. I think they need a long hard look at themselves!
It's been a number of similar incidents with this group outside Parliament, who target certain politicians and journos, mainly women, it seems, with their abuse having a particularly misogynistic slant - 'stick you EU flag up your ****.'
These are lone women just going to do their job, rather than massed, mainly male, protesters chanting insults at each other, and they are up close and personal with these women as they go to and from work, and this is in the light of a woman MP being murdered by a lone Far Right activist, just about two years ago - Jo Cox.
The police have to step in here - crimes are being committed of very aggressive and scary harassment and intimidation of people going about their lawful business.

agree and it's not only the name calling it was the aggressive confrontation in the street as she walked to Parliament which was outrageous. And now apparently just because someone disagrees on a particular view you get called a nazi, well apparently I'm one then.

Outrageous point of view but given your responses on other subjects I suppose not surprising.
Not last night but the night before.
Two Tom Cats came knocking at my door.
I went down stairs to let them in.
And they knocked me down with a rolling pin.

I assume you're talking about my observation that our strategy of signing a high proportion of lesser-known players from France and French speaking countries hasn't worked
The irony of course being that I got accused of racism for that, which is basically what you are complaining about now (not that anyone has actually called you a nazi anyway, but nevermind)
Good job I do not get as precious

No I'm commenting on your view that opposition to something means you get called a Nazi.
The scenes of aggression and hatred aimed at MP's and commentators across the wide-ranging political spectrum is something that no right-minded person should be agreeing on.
There are ways to protest and get your point across but I'm afraid the type we have seen in the area around parliament and at MP's houses is beyond what I would call acceptable.

No one actually accused you of being a racist, although I can see that it felt implied by my post about some less than tolerable views from some posters of which you were one (not that I actually even named you, or initially replied to your post since I had no intention of going after any one in particular). However, when the vague group of players branded as French-Africans were mentioned as being not up to the task, I will question and will continue to question why their origin has anything to do with whether or not they could do a job for us. The answer of course being that it hasn't. Such a sweeping statement where a players potential worth is allocated by racial heritage is, in fact, racist whether or not you understand it. Not all French-Africans has the same background, play-style, personality and ability to adapt to new situations because they are not all the same. This shouldn't have to be a discussion on a message board in 2019.
So, I wasn't trying to call anyone a racist, but wanted to point out that I do not appreciate racist remarks however non-racist you may believe that they are. Even if you would have left out racial heritage, I also do not appreciate the lack of logic in an argument, which is why I would also oppose the view that all players signed from a particular league or a particular country would be likely to fail. Such as your later remark that no one would complain if you had said the same about players from Italy. However, lacking logic is one thing, being racist is on a whole other level.
If you for some reason dislike players from the French league because you believe that are unlikely to make it in the PL then that could be a proper discussion at least. Maybe someone has data on that, it could very well be that players from France in general takes longer to adapt to the PL than for example players from the Championship. It could of course also be the other way around and I don't know which it is.
You could also argue that you prefer a certain type of player, for example big strong tackling midfielders as opposed to small, quick wingers. Again, both of those types come with many different backgrounds and from many different leagues.
It would be appreciated if from here on the discussion could be a bit more appropriate in this regard.

You will find some on wikipedia
Such as "nazism" and "fascism"
Suggest you go and look what they actually mean/involve
Then when you come back, maybe you'll understand why it's so dangerous (and in functioning democracies, unusual) for politicians on the the losing side of a democratic vote not to respect the outcome
Can confirm, still stunned and lost for words.
