Why did he come off....he was one of our best yesterday..... Babel looks good & strong....also looks like he's got a point to prove

Don't know about being injured but he'd been chasing around all game, booked & his challenges becoming a tad ragged. Sensible move if you ask me. Wouldn't have brought on Cisse though for him, TC yes to try to win the game.

That's the thing isn't it.  CR clearly brought on Cisse to shore up the defence and make sure we didn't lose.

As soon as Seri got a Yellow Card, the commentary i listened to said he thought Raneri should and would take Seri off.

Surprised that TC did not replace him.

His best performance in a long while so it was most likely due to his yellow card as we need him in the side and don't want him serving a suspension.

He was certainly better than I have seen for a long time, even his set piece deliveries were good.  But TC should have come on as sub.  Cisse unbalanced the midfield, we didn't need him as well as Chambers as defensive cover for a back five. Too negative and invited even more pressure on us.

Agree 100% Twig - we needed 3 points and ended up getting 0. The defence isn't good enough the best 'bet' was to try and score another not defend

Seri played well but he gave the ball away for Spurs first goal with a very bad pass into the Spurs half.

Seri came off for cisse, and i can reveal exclusively here, because ranieri is useless.
The only change for seri that made sense was TC, we might have won but ranieri thought a team with no defensive capability could shut up shop for a point. The man is useless.

i have had loads of goes at seri but even I am not blaming him for that, it was a simple matter for ream to clear it and that was the start of the sequence that led to the goal. maybe seri could have done better, but it was not his fault and he was certainly putting in the effort yesterday.
