Although we are effectivly down you need to keep trying so next game I would still look at fileding the best team I can. Once we reach a point where we are all honest and say thats it, I would not play any player on loan who will not be here next season and I might even not play a few who we are going to let go for free.
I'd get 3 or 4 of the best younger players in teh 18 man squad and give them some game time to get them ready fro next year.
If everyone fit next week (Apart from mawson I suspect) I would go 532 with..

Well, the OP was about the remainder of this season, so it doesn't have to be relevant for next season. However, some have argued that we should pick a team with next season in mind, which all of a sudden does make it relevant for next season.

If hypothetically I was asked to be in charge for the rest of the season, I would turn it down and refuse, because you should never fight a battle you cannot win, anymore than you would take financial advice from somebody poorer than yourself.
Maybe Nord as cb, and Mawson if fit.
Yes, we need to try and win every game- just because you do, and people are paying to watch.
Never give up until mathmematically impossible, and even then whatever team put out has to try and win their games - and they probably will start winning with no pressure on them!
After Southampton, if FFC chances to stay up are worse than they are now, then FFC should only play those players they are buying, selling, keeping or developing. Unfortuantely, that means Rico, Chambers and Schullre need to rest, while the Sessegnons, Anguissa, Fabri and Markvoic need to play.
