The hosts go into the game top of the division, albeit having played a game more than previous leaders Wolves. The Saints have won four games on the spin in a run which has seen them beat the likes of Manchester United and Newcastle.
The Young Whites have slid to tenth place in the league, although one point can see them climb to as high as seventh.
Mark Pembridge's side go into the game with great confidence having dispatched Colchester for five in the PL Cup, and took a big step towards qualification to the last 16 of the competition.
Last Time Out:Aron Davies cancelled out Michael Obafemi's goal as Fulham took to The Cottage under the September sun. A closely contested game saw the spoils shared as Southampton went back to the South Coast with a point.

The Opposition Camp:Radhi Jaïdi's Young Saints are preparing for the crunch point in their season as six games separate them from the PL2 Division 2 title. The boss has an eye on promotion to Division One.
"There's a lot of motivation and desire around the squad, given the position we're in. The spirit is excellent." He told the club's official site.
"They have the will to make things happen and they want to achieve something this season. We've had successes, but it's not enough yet, there's still six games to go in PL2."
