Just watched Dan Burn playing in the Premier League for Brighton.
Was he one that got away?
His contract was not renewed at the end of the 2015/6 season - presumably SJ didn't fancy him and he went to Wigan
I think he's only played a couple of PL matches for Brighton

He was rubbish at Right Back !

But I'd like to see him do well as he's a nice guy and worked hard for Fulham.
Yes, weird one. Had a decent header at goal but missed, and then was offside for BHA's second goal.

Nice guy, had a head like a 50p piece though.
Headers NEVER went in the direction he intended - usually just looped straight up, backwards, sideways etc.
He might do OK in a certain style of team (I.e Burnley where defence is very well drilled and height / strength is valued over playing out from the back) but there's no way he would have got anywhere in a Slav team as completely the wrong profile of defender for an SJ team. We let him go at the right time for all parties as would have just rotted on the bench / in the reserves.
I wish him well as always seemed like a good bloke.
Good luck to him. He was not the most brilliant but i prefer him to many bigger name players i have seen, andi think he was much demonised unfairly on fulham social media.
Would i have him back? Well not playing this style of football. But in a different system, i think so.
