Title: NFR: London Broncos
Post by: SP on September 06, 2019, 09:47:03 PM
Got bored with the England rugby so watched the second half of the Broncos dramatic away win against their relegation rivals.  Haven't thought about FFC RL in years but they're still showing plenty of spirit & fight. Great memories.

A win at Wakefield next week will keep them up. Whatever happens, an excellent display on by far the lowest budget in Super League

Why are they still called the broncos?

I didn't realise London was famous for it's herds of wild roaming broncos?

*I know it's a factious commnet, but the Americanising of club names really annoys me*

It's an old connection with the Brisbane Broncos who owned the club previously
Don't get too annoyed, lol, as Brisbane is not in America.

But Brisbane have connections with Denver Broncos just to square the circle.

The eternal triangle.
