Post by: bog on September 13, 2019, 11:53:53 AM
In the Daily Mail their is a column called the Secret Scout and he passes judgement on young players. Today there player spotlighted is S Sess. At the end gives a valuation of the player. S Sess he values at £2m. Is he Levy in disguise?

They also valued Reece James at £5 million in April. Chelsea have been knocking away bids of £25 million from Palace and he is being primed to be their first choice as he is coming back from injury. He also rated Max Aarons at £4.5 million for reference.

They seem to value players fairly low. £2 millions seems reasonable in context.

Agree about the valuation being bo11ocks. I suppose that's why the guy is a scout (presumably freelance aka unemployed) rather than a DoF somewhere. His economics are about 20 years out of date.

Of course the low valuation could also be explained by the fact the game he watched was the Cardiff fixture where Sessegnon got caught out quite criminally...

"In the game I saw, he got caught out at right back, pushing forward when a pass went astray in midfield. His opponent took advantage to race away and score with a cross-shot."
