Title: Travel problems for Charlton game
Post by: Frackleheath on September 29, 2019, 06:21:27 PM
I've just found out from a Charlton supporter, that the District Line is not running from Edgware Road/Earls Court to Wimbledon next weekend. Replacement bus services are apparently going to be available.
Also, for anyone who would be using the Windsor to Putney train line, there are closures on this line for the weekend as well.

So, not only is it an early start to the game, but getting there easily without taking the car will be a problem - oh such fun for a game of football!!!

Having just got back from making the most of a weekend up that there London I will add the M3 is chaos where it claims to be smart and the 50mph limit on fairly long stretches of the M4 means everything is grinding to a halt at times. I understand the M4 was supposed to be shut this weekend but it was reopened today but it looks like a building site in places indicating there is much more to come.
