What on earth was Ream thinking. He must have known he was last man therefore if he fouled he would be off. Better to have done nothing .

Ream has never been a favourite of mine. Too slow thinking against better opponents and too static. We must have someone better and more mobile.

This feels like one of these group stage World Cup Games where Brazil are playing New Zealand in the 80s or something.

We look DIABOLICAL.

I would be telling the players to keep believing. You never know.  Put it this way - nothing to lose, everything to gain. It would be the greatest cup shock of all time., and ensure them a place in football's hall of fame.

Good to see Decordova-Reid giving one of the Silvas a hard glare as they came out the tunnel for the second half. That's the spirit.

When exactly is this tactic of playing out from the back, going to be questioned by the coaches. That's 3 goal this afternoon caused by faffing about , instead of lumping it up the pitch.

Post by: cookieg on January 26, 2020, 02:37:25 PM
Playing out from the back again has cost us 2 quick goals and made what would have been a respectable score look like a pasting.
Title: Re: Man City v Fulham, Sunday 26th January 13:00

3 of the 4 goals were due to our faffing around outside our area. We have to stop this tactic against high press sides.

When you consider the goals which have been ruled out for offside by VAR because of an armpit, toe etc. that one should have been ruled out too.

It was offside as soon as the cross was made. If that was not offside then neither was Odoi's in the week.
