Haha. Tough? He is just being respectful - last time we played city we played with our full strength team and they played with a mostly second team and they beat us convincingly. He's a nice guy and it's kind but to believe it is another thing. Especially with no recognised striker available.

It's like when you're playing your younger cousin on FIFA and so have to act like they are any good. I have no expectations for this game so it's basically a free hit.

What I did like about his press conference was he showed Scott Parker and the Team more respect than a lot of the so called Fulham fans on this board

One other thing - we are better, more cohesive, etc than we were last year when we got relegated. We were better when we got promoted as well. Bringing in the french connection and throwing away a good side was a massive error by the Khan's, and I'd like to think we put in a good shift, win, lose or draw. Against Spurs a few years ago in the Cup is a good example.

Why don't some of you show a bit of respect for your team, and have a bit of faith and stop acting like frightened rabbits in the headlights just because were
playing Man City....F*** I hope none of you are actually going to the game, because I think the club can do without you Bunnies....🐰🐰🐰

Its disrespectful to be realistic about this fixture? Of course they are massive favourites and extremely likely to win. Acknowledging that while hoping for the best isn't disrespectful.

It.s 11 V 11
every team is beatable
not likely but possible
it is up to parker to select the right 11, get the right tactics, make sure the players are committed for 90 minutes even if we fall behind, keep trying
what we shouldn't do is try to play cagey and park the bus, that would be suicidal. play to win, don't go mad but take the game to them, they can't score if we have the ball and keep it.

nice to see pep talking for free on their web site
we still are mean enough and foolish enough to charge for that nonsense.
they are the best team in the world and you can hear the manager speak for free....mr khan take note.

As far as I can see nobody has said they want us to lose. I certainly don't even if I expect we will.

It's football.Β  Anything can happen.

Remember Oldham Β (https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS842US842&sxsrf=ACYBGNTqLp5J_PQYtvjk1nVb41mBfJkoPA%3A1579892856827&ei=eEArXtWMMtLh-gS-1LSAAQ&q=fulham+18%2F19+results&oq=fulham+18&gs_l=psy-ab.1.1.0l6j0i22i30l4.14673.24664..28000...3.1..0.140.1214.6j6......0....1..gws-wiz.......0i71j35i39j0i67j0i131i67j0i131j0i20i263j0i273.CM4SBuJHkIg#sie=m;/g/11gxsg3_vd;2;/m/02_p0;ln;fp;1;;)

"What I saw, it's a really good team and I like the way they play," Guardiola declared.

Me too Pep.Β  Β Me too.

Same old posters highjacking a post to have a swipe at fellow Fulham fans and FoF posters. Getting boring now. Should we just wait for games to finish and post links to official site and not have opinions and discussions because it might shake up your fragile view on things.....if differing opinions trigger you so much, I'm not sure a forum is for you.

I get where Mince is coming from.Β  A bit more positivity wouldn't go amiss.Β
However, if we do lose then I just hope all those who are saying that realistically we are bound to, don't then use that defeat to have another swing at Parker.

Hmm maybe I should move? Proving my point again with your intolerance to diverse opinions on a forum. For what its worth, I don't want us to lose, I'm too much a competitive person for that, but this petty sniping at each other is getting tiresome. Move it to the DM's if you want to do that.

Even against a City second string, I fear the best we can hope for is a nation wide power cut so we're not embarrassed on live TV.

1987...Don't take everything I post so seriously, there is always a bit of underlying banter in there,I just like to see who I'd have in the trenches with me.
My dear wife reads the forum and quite often she'll say to me,"You don't half talk some crap sometimes "
lol...
And she thinks a few others do as well.
As for the sniping that goes on,Its like a nursery on here compared to some other clubs forums I sneek a preview at sometimes, they threaten to shoot one another on some, and challenging people to meet up and fight, its bleedin hilarious.
Coyw.
Many of us most probably have sat next to one another at games and enjoyed having a laugh and liked each other not knowing that the person is someone they've called a name on here and told to get lost....I met one at a game and we were both surprised that who each other was...lol
