Ream out, Huddersfield lad cannot play........who else??
Mawson.
Denis for me over Alfie.
Christie,Hector, Dennis, Sess, Bryan all in the mix. Prob Sess on the bench. KMac could also play CB
Odoi Hector Mawson Bryan
Our best back four all day long

The best we have in the circumstances. Really hope moving forward it's Hector playing alongside one of Kongolo or Mawson.
I'd forgotten about Mawson, probably because he's had some poor games recently. I hope he comes back strongly.
Mawson isn't injured is he?
I'm quite happy to see Ream out for a bit as I think Hector will work well with any of the other options we have and I'd like to see which is the strongest. Ream's forced absence will give us a chance to see what is our best partnership. If it proves to be Ream then no probs he slots back in.
I guess we have to recall Mawson and go with Odoi Hector Mawson Bryan but we have the remaining days of the window to get past, there have been rumours about others interested in Bryan.

IMO Mawson the better CB, but even if he isn't, to put Odoi at CB you are having to (a) play either Odoi or Hector on their less-preferred side and (b) play a weaker player (Christie or Sessegnon) at RB
Honestly I don't care, I'm more worried about who are attackers are. If we go with cav bobby and josh again, I can't see us scoring

Strange this last couple of games he hasn't been around,no word of him being injured.
Wonder if he in negotiations for return to Swansea or wherever?

He was on the bench v Boro and csme on at the very end; not in the Charlton squad, when Kongolo was on the bench.
Bryan-Odoi-Hector-Sess
Assuming Mawson is MIA..

Mawson and Ream wasn't a great partnership, but Mawson is valued on transfermarkt because other DOFs want him in their centre back partnership, obviously they think he could form great partnership with their other centre back. I cannot see any reason why Hector-Mawson isn't one of those top CB partnerships.
For me it would be
Dennis. Hector. Alfie. Joe.

This is the correct answer

Mawson is injured isn't he?
In that case for me it's
Odoi Hector Kongolo Bryan
Given our current injuries, I'd go for this
Christie Odoi Hector Mawson Bryan
Should hopefully allow Christie and Bryan to push forward more.

Kongolo can't play because he's on loan from Huddersfield
Mawson has to be a better player than we have seen since since his arrival, so I'm hoping once he settles alongside a proper CB on top of his game we will see him at his best.
I've always thought playing along side the many and various types of CB we have fielded since he's been with us has not been easy for anyone to fit in.
Maybe that's wishful thinking?
Otherwise, I think Kongolo could be the missing CB we have needed for a long time.

Huddersfield should be no great danger and I agree the problem is going to be scoring, just hope Mitro or Kamara are back otherwise we may again go home wthout a goal.
The defence should be ok with:-
Rodak
Christie Odoi Hector Bryan
McDonald
Don't underestimate the importance of McDonald in there, thankfully he was rested against City.

Too right we need attackers, Huddersfield playoff hopes are gone, relegation is possible and they would love one point with a scoreless draw away.
In addition, over the last five years, the average team that gets promoted scores 81 goals and concedes 43 goals, so we need to improve.
We need to concede less than 14 goals in 19 games and score more than 39 goals in 19 games, with Hector here and injuries upfront the later is less likely.
Typically Goal Difference required for 46 games60 goal difference correlates with 102 points
50 goal difference correlates with 96 points
40 goal difference correlates with 89 points
30 goal difference correlates with 83 points
20 goal difference correlates with 76 points
10 goal difference correlates with 70 points
