Title: time off between games..
Post by: General on February 29, 2020, 07:15:51 PM

next game is in a week - 7 days, the one after in 6 days - proper recovery time for those both - will that suit us well? Obviously good to have respite, in a league where the demands are usually expected every three days, but how do you see it?

Bristol and Brentford have both faltered a bit recently, so giving them time to gather themselves could bode well or not?

It's true but I think it is about preparation and if the coaches do their jobs well there should be no problem

We need some respite so one game a week suits us. We've lots of long term injuries, and players managing injuries (e.g. Johansen) so we're left with a small fully fit squad.

Away to Bristol, a tough game and essential we field a fully fit starting eleven. The 7 day build up can be put to good use and I would think will be welcomed by Parker.
