Post by: ALG01 on April 03, 2020, 03:29:58 PM
A great
A legend
Unique

overused words but in his case 100% true.

If all you know is lean on me, ain't no sunshine and lovely day...check out the rest
I loved the lean on me album, soul without being the classic stax sound
The world is a less good place without him

What wonderful singer. I echo about 'Grandma's Hands'. So many classics he wrote. I think he worked on a car assembly line before he made it. RIP Bill and many thanks.

I had no idea he was over 80.  "A Lovely Day" is a beautiful song that will last the test of time.
