Title: Reed Appreciation Post
Post by: FFC1987 on June 20, 2020, 01:44:39 PM
Guys a baller, really decent all rounder. Enough said, get him signed up.

Yes he had a great game today and very impressive. But not as impressive as Mitro's barnet.

The sooner we get away from Parker as manager, the better. Another part display and some real passengers just coasting. Bryan in particular needs a dressing down. Just appalling.

Totally agree. Wtf is Parker doing? I don't get his subs sometimes and it frustrates the life out of me. We looked so comfortable for 88 mins then boom in typical Fulham fashion it all goes down the pan

Really confused by his substitution as was playing well.

Was he injured?

Arter and Cav largely absent for 20 minutes. Not what we needed.

Reed was injured,he stayed down for a while (about 12 minutes to go) then came off. Our best player today.

I think he was injured.

He got a knock and was looking tired. He certainly put in a shift.

All went to sh** when he went off

Best player by a mile. Had to do the job of 3 Cms today

We needed a goal so badly, where on earth was Kamara. I guess he must be sick, injured or throwing one of his wobblies.

Surely Parker has not dropped him as there seemed no one in the team today, other than Mitro, who was going to score a goal for us.

Parker wouldn't have dropped him. He was very supportive of AK even during the "tantrum period", so unless AK has done something mind bogglingly dumb Parker would stick with him.

Why the heck did you post this in a Reed appreciation thread?  Serious question.

On Topic:   I owe Reed an apology.    He held down that #6 position very well today.   Good job.

Totally agree with practically everything here. Reed best player for FFC  although Ream and Hector good but Bryan awful today.

But worse performance was from the bench. Scotty that was terrible. You were behind the game and a rabbit in the headlights.Where was your creativity, your set plays, all the homework and training over the last 16 weeks.

Just not there was it ? Subbing was so slow and retroactive not proactive. Their manager ran rings round you.

Wrote this today. Thought he was clearly the best performer on the pitch: https://hammyend.com/index.php/2020/06/reed-shines-even-as-fulham-full-short/

Absolutely so.
Have said before that when fit he is clearly our best DMF'er.

Bump. He was the best player on the pitch for either team. Maybe against Brentford as well.

I must admit I was surprised at his inclusion in the starting lineup against Brentford given how long he'd been sidelined and therefore how unlikely it seemed he'd be match-fit. Yet his return has been something of a revelation.

Anyone know if we have an option to make permanent and fee agreed already? This guy has been immense every time I've watched him, arguably one of the first names on the team sheet! Be extremely disappointed if we've had the option on the other signings and then not got it on him, be similar to Marty Targett if we don't. Can see Saints not letting him go if not, considering Hojberg looks like he's on his way out.

Exactly - we must not miss the Target again
