Saw Daniel sturridge wants to return to the EPL and is available on a free. Would he suit as back up to Mitro?
Nope.
NO NO NO!
No.
TOO Expensive!
His track record is AMAZING - the injury track record that is...

Take him right now..
No.
Being primarily in the Championship I've lost touch with the Premier League, let alone top few clubs as their players aren't within our reach. Didn't realize his misfortune over the last year.
His injury record is long
Toe Injury
Knock
Muscle Injury
Calf muscle strain
Thigh muscle rupture
Groin Injury
Achilles tendon problems
and that's in the last 11 months.
Not much use having back up for Mitro if the back up is permanently injured!
Sick note was one of the reasons Chelsea got rid of him, the other was an attitude problem. It's a shame because he was quite a talent at one stage.
I know it was some time ago but I remember watching him at the cottage when he was at Liverpool in the famous SAS season and he was on fire. I knew he went on loan this year to turjey but didnt realise how many injuries he has had.
No
No, not sure he is a team player and always appeared arrogant. He would want serious money for a bench warmer.
Exactly the sort of signing we need to avoid.

I think his injuries might have something to do with him being a 'vegan'. Nothing wrong with being one.
It's a no from me.

Isn't also players like Messi and Agüero (among many others) vegans? And one of the reasons is said to be to avoid injuries (not sure it has helped Agüero lately though)? Not sure if there is any scientific proof of it making a difference one way or another, but never heard anyone claim before that you are more likely to get injured because of it.
On topic: no thank you, has all the warning signs, at least on a first glance.
