I fail to understand why he is allowing this crazy situation to continue.
He spent £150 M to buy the club. He then put £8 to £10 M into the academy, a lot of millions buying players, many of whom did not stay following relegation. and then God bless him he sank another £80 M or more on what will be a fantastic new stand. We struggled at times to fill CC when the capacity was only 26,000, how the hell does he think we will get 30000 through the gates in the Championship or even lower. Rumour has it there are plans to extend other areas to increase capacity, in the present climate - why?
Surely he can see that Tony - with all his good intentions - is just not the man for DoF for a football (or soccer) club in England or that matter Europe. We need a DoF with a comprehensive knowledge of the game, because if we do not and we end up with another relegation we will start to lose our hardcore fans as we did at end of the 60's and early 70's.
He thinks his son is doing a good job.
