Anyone else find his live text commentary on BBC Sport tonight rather poor form?

I support the principle of a licence fee funded broadcaster, but my arguments in favour are undermined by the huge amounts of money the BBC wastes, especially on its website (e.g. why do we need schoolboy text commentaries on sport?  Or reporters "telling us the mood" in some city in the USA).  And then they shovel huge amounts of cash towards the likes of Lineker and Wright.

Herbie, I was getting angry about the comments aimed at Fulham.
There were a couple before,
Then final straw was Missed Penalty followed by Ha,Ha,ha,ha ha ha ha.
Very poor reporting from the BBC.
