Excellent performance but he played a bit with the last ten minutes taking off our attacking threats. Overall, top dollar

Fantastic performance from Scott and the boys! Absolutely battered Everton.

Apparently Wilson looks like he's picked up a nasty injury - serves the pr1ck right for cheating against us.

we looked balanced tonight with aina and Tete as fullbacks and lemina and Harrison sitting. worked really well from start to finish . Maja is just the player we have been looking for.

Great performance. We really deserved that win. So good to finally have a striker to score tap ins. Well done Maja. Everyone put a shift in. Special mention to Harrison Reed who was immense tonight. This is just one game though. Need to do same again next game and the next game. COYW

History made tonight, one game at a time. Great performance mom Hartison Reed for me. Onwards and upwards.

Well I hate to say it but for some time some of us have been saying play three up top including Lookman and Bobby Reid, make sure you do not pick Cav to start and 4 at the back not five and the chances will come and with someone at the top like a fit Mitro or Maja we will score. Lemina was brilliant but Harrison Reid what a performance, absolutely top drawer.

Same team on Wednesday and if we get four more points this week then we are on the way back up the league.

ENJOY the win guys !

Interesting stat from the Premier League tweeted after the game: only Man City have conceded less goals than we have over the last 13 games. Shows that if we can start scoring, we should be start seeing many more wins

Maja was our fox in the Box tonight, something we have missed all season. Nevertheless what an all round team performance from back to front. One thing this team has that has been missing in previous seasons, and that is we're are aggressive and physically strong, and powerful especial at the back and in midfield augmented by plenty of height.
Plus we out classed, out passed, out fought, out ran and out scored Everton on their own patch.
Not forgetting how organised we were, how we kept our balance and our shape which was integral.
We were on the front foot from the start, and we defended from the front which caught Everton out.
The huge plus for me was that we dominated Everton in both halves, we never let them off the hook.

We have one of the best defences in the league - no question about that.

Agreed. If we can start scoring just a small number of goals then we stand an outside chance.  A fit TC would help given he always chips in and precious few of our goals come from midfield this season. Keeping Maja fit is also imperative given Mitro has somehow contrived to catch Covid.

It matches the buzz I had in the 1975 win in our cup run, they were top of Div.1 and we were in the 2nd Div. Great result.

Yes a tremendous performance tonight. We played some magnificent attacking football but don't overlook the fact that we came away from Goodison Park with a clean sheet.
