It baffles me how WBA are so high up. Every time I've seen them this year they've looked rubbish. So reliant on the long throw ins. Those towels should be banned
Towels should be banned. If any away side brings them to the Cottage I hope the ball boys are told to remove them.
My preference would be for 0-0, Stoke started better and should be ahead but Albion very threatening.

A Stoke win would be best for us. WBA will be more of a threat in the long run so a loss would be a dent to their confidence hopefully.
WBA just get the job not a great watch and basic.

The issue for me is not towels, but the length of time it takes to take a long throw in, especially if it is on the other side of pitch to the player who ends up taking the long throw. If it was a normal throw, the ref would be making hand signals to the "throwee" to get on with it. Somehow with a long throw, the left back is allowed to amble across to the other side of the pitch, the centre halves stroll up to the penalty area, the "throwee" takes time towelling down the ball and the whole palaver might take a minute. Absolute nonsense.

On balance Stoke deserve the lead but lots of poor passes and errors by both sides.

West Brom aren't that good. Seen nothing about them that would worry us tonight.

If ever you needed evidence as to how average this league is, tonight's dross was 1st vs 3rd. There's really no excuses for not going up with the squad we have that's for sure

The entire game both sides were trying to connect passes like Fulham...and they consistently couldn't. If Fulham don't finish above both these teams we deserve to be in the Championship for the next five seasons. I want those 90 minutes of my life back.

It's strange to see the standings and see us below stoke who moved into third, who we beat 3-0, and with many of the same team that played West brom tonight, who won against 1st..
By all means stoke should've had at least 2 maybe 3 goals. The penalty and disallowed goal should've stood.
Have teams like stoke and Huddersfield had a mentality shift after we beat them or what's going on? On our day we seem capable of beating any team in the league but a clear 2 or 3 goals.. shame it just doesn't happen that way and we throw in the occasional loss for good measure.
Or perhaps marco silva wants us to lose to humble us.
Its called football general. In this division there are so many reasons you can lose matches ,not least dodgey refereeing. What was very clear is that both Stoke and WBA are lightyears from PL level.

Duh.. was more the fact that you rarely have a team at the top of the league who managed to dispose of another top team so conclusively. Are we thinking we may be able to do the same over Bournemouth and West brom?
