I see one of them has mentioned Hangeland as a replacement for Huth! A bit up themselves aren't they!

"Oatcakefanzine"....? What with some of the semi-literate and foul-mouthed rants on there, I would have thought "Fruitcakefanzine" may have been more appropriate.

I think our admins are happy we are such an eloquent, well-mannered bunch   :022: :

Perhaps we should give them value  for their hard work too  :airfix:

the first year stoke came up and played at the Cottage, walking through the park after a game I had to "get involved" with about 5 stoke fans(all in their 40's and 50's) abusing and threatening a Fulham supporting dad with his daughter(about 11/12) so yes,I'm sure everyone's happy that we are a well mannered bunch,it's just a shame that some other teams supporters aren't-Stoke fans have a "reputation" and they make a point of living up to it!

The last time we beat Stoke at their place was 1969.

Anyone see that one?

A worthless lot.

Yeah.....do they really believe what they say?
I have serious doubts...

QuoteSaid the same to my Dad - Murphy has the gall to have a pop at us yet his team combined the art of physicality and blatant cheating to perfection.

Pantsil is a disgrace to the game

That was the last time in the top flight.  Today's was only the 3rd top flight match we've had there since 1969!

We won at the Britannia in 1999 thanks to a late Kit Symons goal - I was at that one but not the old Division 1 match.

I thought we were a lot more physical than usual but we needed to be. Our lads refused to be bullied and their lot reacted as bullys usually do when someone stands up to them. "They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring !"
