No surprise there Sir. With the world cup approaching he simply has to play top division football and if one of the richest clubs in the world comes knocking on your door, you would be silly not to open it.
Possibly being offered 3 times our top wage offer Captain.
Money means nothing to these people, however there are plenty of clubs who would say the same about us.

Pope seemed the most reliable of the keepers we were linked with but we can't expect to get everyone we want. I guess Newcastle are above us in the pecking order.
Nick Pope was one player i would have loved Fulham to have purchased.
A bit of a reality check - for us. Really need to have confidence that Marco & our contract team have identified the best signings & are putting it all into place ready for the many announcements on the 1st of July. We will have learned so much (how not to do it) after the last 2 promotions, what could possibly go wrong?
