GET IN!!!!
Son is arguably my #2 favorite professional footballer (Vinicius...Real Madrid). We need Tete to do a job on him tonight.
If we get a point I'm buying the people at the local bar a round of drinks tonight.
They audio on the peacock feed was in major feedback for a while there. Ouch!

That was the Spurs stadium system.
COME ON!!! 049:gif
Mitro shaved?
Good start by Fulham. Lots of possession and great chance created by Andreas for BDR.
nice Leno
They are going to be tough to break down in their defensive third.
Phew

We have got to get there 1st, not happening at the moment.
Tete is killing Sessegnon.
They're good at finding space between the midfield and defence.
We're struggling to get anything going at the moment
We are struggling
15 mins in and we are struggling to get a foothold in the game.
They seem to play in a way that is a bit our kryptonite.
They are almost as direct as we are, which is part of it I think.
We'll do well to get something from this. Spurs playing well. We're not really in the game
Not going to be 0-0 for much longer.

Me also, Perry Groves is a half decent match assessor compared to the normal dross.
no Jedi...
Not good if Robinson has to be subbed. Looks like he twisted his ankle when clearing that last ball.
If he has to go off, guessing Diop comes on and Ream goes LB
I hear circus music...
Royal yellow. Robinson may have to come off. No like for like replacement with Kurzawa not in the squad.
crud, jedi is done. mbabu on.
Damn, had a feeling watching him that he wouldn't be able to continue.
Marco Silva is seriously cussing out the 4th official. F off you a bunch of times. Mbabu on for Robinson.
We're hanging on a bit here. They look very dangerous going forward
Is that Meulensteen's daughter on SS News
Kane to Seung combo about gets in there for Spurs. Off the top post.
Leno injured
stupid yellow
Time wasting after half an hour
Tete gets a yellow for time wasting after Stuart Atwell warned Fulham to get on with it. A bit harsh.
Stupid yellow for tete
Bees & Forest both winning.
That was so dumb

Bees & Forest both winning.
One of thems playing Bournemouth and the other a team without a striker
B*gger
too much flat feet
Its been coming
Stupid play
Giving possession away far too often too easily.
Invite pressure you will get stung
Honestly Mbabu.. so needless he had plenty of time to clear it.
6 players within 8 yards of each other and no one goes to the one with the ball.
Sounds like they are all over us
Holjberg scores. Hopefully we can hold until HT.
More like when they score rather than if.
Mabu fannying around with the ball left us exposed
It was coming. We've been really poor.
Way too much pressure on a our defense.
Spurs have been good, but we've not really done anything this half. Silva will need to change something

Yeah, really up against it so far. 1-0. Can't argue against it. Could be a long 90 mins.
Is there a reason why Leno didn't bother trying to save it?
Was hoping Newcastle would sign Toney.

Decent cross in for Mitro.
Kebano and BDR are doing literally nothing. Might as well get Willian and James on at HT

Was past him before he had a chance to react. Mbabu messing about caused that goal.
+6 min stoppage time.
We needed an upgrade on Reed in central midfield and a left back who could contribute immediately

Only 1 down, could be worse!

He gets bypassed by quick midfields. He can hustle but what does he do when the other team has more possession and they run at him.
Sent from my KFTRWI using Tapatalk
Poor error from Mbabu, but the goal was coming. We're struggling with the runners beyond Kane.
Offering literally nothing forward, should swap both wingers to at least give them something to think about.
Silly avoidable goal. Mbabu resurrecting our worst faffing around of a couple of seasons ago. Maybe Kebano off if we don't get a goal back in the first 15 mins of 2nd half and give Dan James a go.
Incredibly lucky to only be 1 down, Spurs look dangerous going forward. Need to change formation or something to give us some semblance of control in midfield. As mentioned previously I would have brought Diop on for Robinson and shifted Ream to LB. Mbabu doesnt look at all comfortable defending.
Wide players offering nothing. Our midfield is getting completely bypassed. Reed just getting passed around
I'm surprised at the amount of negative comments on here. Spurs are a decent side. Seriously, what did people realistically expect today. It's HT and 1-0. We are still in the game, despite the performance.
We haven't tested 'Lloris' at all, we are too slow to break. I'd be tempted to make 'wholesale' changes.
Passing the ball slowly, just allows Tottenham to get back into their defensive shape.
We are not in this game so we need some Marco magic
We are being well beaten, Silva has to make changes for the second half. We need a playmaker , Cairney has to start second half otherwise we will come away without a sniff at goal.

I mean, to be fair, this week and next were always going to be big asks. I'd have liked to see us a bit more organized, but I don't expect much if anything from the next two. Big match following these though away to Forest.
In the end their goal was soft - Mbabau caught in possession when he hadn't been on long, but they'd had a lot of pressure and chances.
Need to get and keep possession in the 2nd half, pick up their runners, win the ball in midfield, make it a battle, hit them on the break.
This is a tough test, no doubt about it.

We had the opportunity to 'cross' several times, what did we do? Just kept passing it around.

Really shows the importance of the Brighton win in the middle of this tricky run of fixtures.
We aren't Manchester City, we're doing our best against a top team, period. Not just our league, but in the world. We haven't been hammered 6-0 or 9-0 yet. Let's support the lads no matter what happens. Our goal is survival not to be in the Champions League places (yet)
Sometimes I wonder how some of you see things - Spurs have world class players and a world class manager. There are going to be games like this one where we're under the cosh for 45 mins and don't create too much, we are a promoted team after all and every so often we will be undone by better teams, there's no shame in it. The fact is it's 1-0 and we're not out of the game by a long way
COYW!
Need quicker ball forward, get behind them and get crosses for Mitro. Playing to their strengths at the mo

Obviously the games against the bigger teams are going to be difficult, it doesnt meant the team cant be criticised.
The problem we're having couldnt simply be due to tiredness from not changing the team this season. Our pressing definitely hasnt been as intense today.
Also could just be a problem with the system, I feel like we just need another body in CM as they're just slicing through us, and the 2 wide players arent in the game at all
Mbabu again.
Try switching him with Tete.
I definitely think fatigue is part of the issue. I hope it hasn't cost us Robinson for any length of time.

Nice of |Sess to look like he was trying to score but miss, TOney with a hat trick against leeds, relegation stuff that
Go Bournemouth, I'd be happy with a draw at Forest.

another yellow...
Leno again
at least Leno showed up
Leno has been incredible today
This system isn't working. When Robinson got injured we should've moved to 5 at the back - Diop on, BDR to wing back and Vinicius on for Kebano. Our wingers aren't in the game.
Still hanging in there.
Willian looks assuring for us to start an attack.

Bentancur is a petulant tosser - that should have been his second yellow.

Me too. We are doing quite fine. Lots of creativity on now with Cairney and Willian.
Hell.
sloppy
What we deserved today
Game over then?
BBC guy praising Sessegnon for Sours second goal.
Very close onside for a Harry Kane goal. 2-0 Spurs.
How was that onside?
Guess who was marking Kane? Unbelievable, this guy!!
That's game over. Can't see us scoring two today.
I know Spurs are a good side but we deserve to be much more than 2-0 down today
I don't see the same amount of effort from the players that we've seen in previous weeks. We can hopefully put it down to tiredness and move on
We need to stay locked in, don't want this to turn into a rout.
Spurs have played well, they deserve this scoreline. We've just not been quite at it. Created basically nothing
We need Chelsea to put another one in against West Hame and Forest/Bournemouth to stay a draw

I don't understand how that was onside. His right left was at least a couple feet offside
On a positive note we are still in 9th place

Quite clear to me that we need Premiership quality defenders and the absence of any except this summer is unforgivable for our recruitment team.

Why can't we get a first time cross in? Willian had the opportunity to cross but didn't, that always plays into the oppositions hands. Allows them to reset.
This is not like before. We are in every game. Very positive
Not happy with the result but happy to see we fought till the bitter end. That's the bare minimum we should expect. Truth is, many really good teams will lose to Spurs away.
Why do a few whine and cry so much about how bad everything is and then shut up when Mitro scored? We played one of the top teams in Europe and hung in and had a shot at a point in the end. I hate losing as much as the next guy but this is the Prem. There are six teams that NO ONE expects us to get a point off of. We played 'pool, Arse and no Spuds and were competitive in all three.
We are a team with duo gods, Mitro and Marco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
