Only concerns are we keep turning over possession in our own final third, especially from our throw ins. Mitro or Palhinha should be coming short to give an option and hold onto the ball.

I agree. Both Diop and Ream are a bit static and there are gaps between them. Hopefully Silva will have sorted that at half time.
I wonder if Harry Wilson is fit enough to come on for Neeskins, it's not his night.

IMO we didn't get out of second gear against a woeful Villa team. Still a couple of dodgy moments at the back in which any half decent team would punish us with.

I understood what you mean, I meant to ask you to expand on those situations that you think your statement applies to.
Personally I believe a manager plays the team that he believes gives the best chance of success. That is also the reason the manager wants certain players in the first place. I don't think the reason he plays them is primarily out of prestige. If it was, then Chalobah wouldn't have been discarded so quickly.
But that is just my take.

What's not to like?
A convincing win and fully deserved. Villa were mostly poor but that's partly because we didn't let them settle.
My only regret is we should have taken the lead earlier and been 2-0 at half time.
