It has to be the best league in the world, after nearly a quarter of the season gone you have Sunderland in sixth on 15 points only five ahead of Middlesbrough in twentieth on 10 points. You have Blackburn in eighth having lost five games and West Brom in twenty first having lost just two games and they have a better goal difference. Middlesbrough could win today and move up ten places if other results go their way. Almost impossible to predict who will get relegated or make the play offs.
Loved the Championship. There is financial disparity but clubs coming down often have to make huge cuts so there are no Man City type clubs in the division. Last season Blackburn were resurgent and teams like Luton and Coventry (who had been promoted just like Sunderland this season) featured in the promotion race for long periods.
It is great to go to games knowing any result may happen.
After Fulham, I follow the Championship more closely than the prem. It's just more fun.
QPR have a couple of excellent attacking players in Willock and Chair (sorry to say). Would love to see the Hatters go up this year to complete their meteoric rise from non-league. Norwich looks like a shoe-in again.
