Other than Tosin being a bit suspect that was a fantastic performance - we are miles away from any previous FFC PL team of the last 3/4 attempts because we have the combination of skill, determination and guile that will keep us cooking this year
WHAT A RESULT AGAIN!!!!!!!!! :wine: 082.gif
Nervy in the end, but a great 3 points. Wonder if we managed to get another manager sacked though.
Good 3 points and very happy for Willian.
Tough game but class told. Harrison Reed....what a player, even without that sublime assist.
What an exhilarating game. Nervy ending, but professionally seen out.
Fantastic performance and richly deserved win. Willian looks pure class, Palhinha dominant and Reed so dynamic and composed in the opposition box. They looked really good at the start but we slowly sapped their morale.
I hope all the doubters will stop worrying about relegation now, because weren't going to be near it.
This is our best side in a long time, can we sneak a European place,I don't put it past them.
After ten minutes it looked as if we were in for a good hiding, but another fighting performance gave us a great result.
Back to back wins & very well deserved.
Tremendous result for us, especially after going behind. I dont think we actually played that well, but we are very dangerous from set plays which always gives us a chance.
Hopefully we are a bit fresher for the Everton game. Cannot complain about the points total we have though, its been a great start to the season
Absolutely terrific performance from the lads with the goals worthy of a lot of replays to show just how good they were. Adarabioyo a little circumspect earlier on but got better as time went on. Harrison Reed had a terrific game again and such an excellent cut back for Willian's goal.
I think we did OK, great result though.
First half we had better clearcut chances but we're wasteful and Leeds just edged it.
That said though we came back into the game strongly and 3-2 was a fair score. Mitros ball off the line, Pereira one on one both in the first half.
Think we struggled a bit in the first half because we started Wilson. He didn't look his sharpest and we were probably suffering a bit as a result of starting him, that said he needs to get game time at some point. Felt BDR was making up defensively for Wilsons lack of match sharpness.
Not a surprise to see us score more freely with a more in form kebano on the pitch.
Everyone played well today but with few standing out - Pereira got two assists and it was great to see Willian get his first goal. Well earned given so many of the team were playing their second game in four days.
Up to 7th and with a second win in a row. We've now got a buffer between us and 10th of 4 points and double those in the relegation places.
Everton up next who seem to have found some form and will be a tricky match - time to rest and train well and go again!
Marco Silva take a bow, normally never get anything at Elland Road. You just have to admire the transformation of players like Reed and Ream under his stewardship, playing the best football of their lives. Mitro in his best form and still scoring even injured. Bring on European Football :005:
Really feel we can get results against anyone bar maybe Man City.
Tosin played well 2nd half,
Willian goal was class.
Harrison Reed MOM
18 pts at this stage is very good, grest win and we have a team of fighters 👏

I managed to tune into Radio Leeds. Near the end after Willian scored their commentator said 'I tell you, this Fulham are very good side. That Willian may be 34 but he is still top drawer.' I enjoyed hearing that. COYW! :clap_hands: :yay: 049:gif
We are 7th! :wine:

Some real praise there from SS News that we looked like the home team
Great Result. Who would have thought, nearly a third of the way through the season and above Liverpool :54:. Thought all played well and proves it's a game of opinion I thought Tosin was (especially second half) very good. Most importantly another three points.

Praise from opposition supporters is always nice to hear. It's rare and hard-earned. We were all told Willian was going to be crap. How wrong they were!!

Yup. Great to see. A team full of players with bravery and fight. What is needed to compete at this level.
Watching Willian's post match interview, seems like a real team player.
Real guile, fight and flair all over the pitch. We genuinely look a very good team at this level.
Willian has been a revelation so far.

I went to the City game yesterday and to be honest if we press them they do get a but shaky and go route 1 with the ball. Watch the 2nd half v Brighton and 1st half v Palace they can be got at. De Bryne wonder goal and a stupid error for the 1st goal for City bar the pen they didn't look that cut throat City.
Almost as important as the 3 points is the confidence the team will get from winning this game away at a tough place like Elland Rd.
COYW!! Proud of the squad. Tosin recovered well after their goal.
Only need 2 points to get to the 20 point mark I predicted before the World Cup break with less than half the season played
Great win, and for large parts of the game a great performance. Everyone played well, albeit Tosin was a bit shaky at the start and Robinson made an unusual amount of defensive errors. Hopefully Tete will be back for the next match, as it will be a tougher test I think.
What an amazing match. I can barely talk from shouting and singing so much!
Goals conceded were a little soft, especially their 2nd, but fantastic win.
Just love this team, Harrison Reed, Willian, BDR everyone giving their all COYW 049:gif 049:gif
Love having Willian in our team. Has been a fantastic player to watch over the years and just a joy to have him playing for us.
Pereira's ability to find a player on the dead balls and crosses is also incredible. From being a team rubbish at corners over the years we now look as though we're going to score on every one.
Those two deserving a special mention.
I would say Leeds are every bit as good as they have been these past 5-6 years of playing them on a consistent basis and drawing or losing most on a consistent basis.
I'd also say between MS and the few player additions we are just better than them now and are better than we have been vs. recent years.

It's so refreshing to hear an honest assessment rather than excuses. And I couldn't agree more. William is playing like he's five years younger, but with the fire of youth and the wisdom of experience.
Fantastic result. Back to back wins! COYW!

Remember when we would have 17 corners in a game, and we just knew that 1) they wouldn't make it past the first man, and 2) they were a waste and we'd be more susceptible to a counter than scoring ourselves? Now we are DEADLY at set pieces. Marco was criticized when he was fired from the PL for being weak at set pieces, both offensive and defensive. He has learned by leaps and bounds.
Only thing missing was a goal and he came close.. it's Reed for me
Only 1 team below us in the league have beaten us

And they did it with 3 questionable goals/var decisions!
I thought we outclassed them and out passed them.
But added to thet we won our share of 50/50 tackles and muscling them off the ball was important. We are hunting in packs and picking their pockets by dispossessing them.
You don't got to Leeds and win unless you have grit, tenacity and the mental strength to win.
Add quality and confidence to those requirements and you have a cocktail of winners.
Our fighting attitude off the ball as good as we have ever seen from a Fulham squad.
There is just a huge togetherness and brilliant team spirit in this squad
I reckon Tim Ream makes the World cup squad for USA 2022 see him in action v England and Wales

During those first ten minutes I thought that we were going to be overrun and found myself thinking that 'this is exactly the sort of side we always bloody lose to', but fair play we stood up, were more than counted and then turned their own attempts at physical dominance against them.
Its this that makes me think that even if we do end up in a dogfight at the bottom, we have enough mettle and enough talent to see ourselves out of it. Its a bloody nice feeling.

We are in a Europa slot
Grand tour here we come
Great match all 'round. I continue to be concerned about giving up "easy" goals, but as long as we have more than them ... .
Hatter Mom was pleased to discover that Sinisterra played on the left.
Loving this season and this squad.

But I'm completely fine with it because he'll get a nice restorative break.
Bet 365 highlighting it took us until March to win 5 games last time around - makes a change to hear them say something positive about us.
First time I've seen this team in the flesh (I live in Yorkshire) but I was in awe of the pace and power of Robinson and the pace of William. It's not as obvious on the TV as you only see a small area. They turned the game round for us after Leeds had played like champions for 15 -20 mins. You could see the Leeds defenders backing off every time one of them surged forward and that stopped their momentum and allowed us back into the game. After that we bossed it. Still a few defensive errors but that is acceptable in a side set up to be entertaining, and so much better than watching the dour stuff our previous manager had us playing. Great support from the travelling faithful.
Probably our best game this season. We created so many clear cut chances.
What a brilliant start to the season so far.

Going back a bit we didn't score from a corner for what seemed like two years. Statistically we were more likely to score from the goalkeeper having the ball. So from corners we were urging the taker to play the ball back to Betinelli on the basis we were more likley to score. Yes . different now.
Reed for England!

Yeah there is something unique about Jedi's runs. Upright power and speed. Wish more of his crosses made it past the first man but still love watching him play.
